Music Groups

The Music Ministry at the Assumption is part of the Liturgical Coordination Committee and a combination of choir groups that help the parishioners worship the Lord with their souls during the Eucharistic Celebration. Song, after all, is one form of worship that can provide heartfelt expressions of praise to the Almighty Father. The psalms in the Scriptures are essentially songs, many written by King David who is known for his love for God.

Aside from coordinating the liturgical services of the Church, these sweetly singing groups are valuable support during the celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Engaged couples have a variety of choice as to whom they wish to “lift up” their joyous occasion. Each group offers a unique style of musicality but all provide a chorus of lovely voices that truly enhance the meaning of worship.
